SUBANG JAYA, 20 March 2025 - Salcon Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Salcon Engineering Berhad (SEB) has been awarded a RM167 million contract by Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) for the construction of a new water treatment plant, raw water pipeline and related infrastructure in Melaka.
The project encompasses the construction, completion and commissioning of a 1200mm diameter raw water main pipeline and a water treatment plant with a capacity of 90 million liters per day (MLD). Work will commence upon site possession, with completion targeted within 30 months.

This initiative will enhance treated water supply and distribution in the Alor Gajah district and surrounding areas, supporting PAAB’s commitment to ensuring clean water access for Melaka’s residents," said Encik Jamiluddin Amini Sulaiman, Chief Executive Officer of SEB.
This contract strengthens Salcon’s portfolio of infrastructure projects and is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s earnings and net assets for the financial years ending 31 December 2025 and beyond.
